Our house is a short walk from Tigbauan National High School. The school grounds are a shortcut when we walk to the Tigbauan market or the Tigbauan post office. Many of our neighbors attended Tigbauan NHS and we must say that we’re impressed with the job the school does — and with its graduates. We have nieces who attended high school in Luzon. They were not nearly as well-prepared as the Tigbauan students and alumni we meet.
Since we are so close to the school, we hear the band practice. We enjoy it — really! At first it’s mostly noise but over the weeks, through enthusiastic practice we can hear the band get better and better.
Here are a few snapshots for the enjoyment of TNHS graduates who are scattered around the world. Feel free to leave reminiscences or comments in the comment section at the end.
