Dumaguete is more genteel than any Philippine city we have visited. Most Philippine cities aim just to survive; being pretty is not high on the list. Trip Report: Mambukal Mountain Resort, Murcia, Negros Occidental

Mambukal (Mambucal) Mountain Resort consists of beautifully landscaped grounds in which are set a swimming pool, picnic shelters, ponds, rental cottages, a Japanese bathhouse, a butterfly garden, and a food court.
